Old-school dinosaur-and-animals museum near downtown — animatronic T. rex, Egypt tomb replica, live sharks and reptiles. Ages 3-10; solid 90-minute air-conditioned outing, easy to pair with the nearby kid-friendly downtown stops.

Nonprofit natural history museum with dinosaur galleries (including an animatronic Tyrannosaurus), international wildlife rooms, a marine life gallery with live sharks, and a replica of King Tut's tomb. Compact enough for young attention spans.
