The parent take

A trippy fake supermarket that explodes into a massive climb-through art world — kids 5+ are mesmerized, and it's all indoors and air-conditioned. Plan 2-3 hours, parking at AREA15 is free, and go before evening since the surrounding complex skews 21+ after 9 PM.

Omega Mart is Meow Wolf's permanent immersive art installation inside AREA15, just west of the Strip. Visitors enter through a surreal parody supermarket and discover hidden doors leading into a sprawling multi-level world of interactive art, slides, secret passages, and an optional deep story to unravel. All ages are welcome; anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Most visits run 2-4 hours.

Good for

Curious kids roughly 5+, tweens, and teens; families wanting a big indoor afternoon; art- and puzzle-loving kids.

Know before you go

Buy timed tickets in advance and enter your Nevada ZIP for the local discount (bring ID). Strobing lights, dark passages, and sensory intensity can overwhelm very young or sensitive kids. Visit earlier in the day — AREA15 becomes largely 21+ after 9 PM.
